Dinosaurs

I’ve left an impression

on my bed

fossil,

skeleton,

fetus

An internal ache

of traveling,

rushes like geese to cool skin

flesh,

bone,

ghost,

bone,

flesh

My haunting animates

the fossil

Writhing, weeping

Rewind and rewind

though, I don’t know why

Nevertheless, my anatomy,

reminiscent of prehistoria,

pushes me to yelp

on behalf of

the intangible, unutterable

unintelligible

How divided and distinct,

yet how bound and committed

that one archaic shall

engender the one of fate

until

inhabitance and language

spontaneously,

often unnoticeably,

arrive
