Women’s (Un)abashed Indulgences: Bath, Food, and Body

Lee Price, she is good, real good. I’m corresponding with her in regards to featuring her work on The Other Journal for our upcoming Food issue. Her realistic renderings of women eating, soaking, and in the nude engender dis-ease (bodies and consumption), sublime resonating (how one fantasizes about these simple, but demanded moments that rarely ever happen), disgust (indulging and revealing), and power differentials (aerial perspective for the viewer) among other things I unfortunately don’t have time to write about currently. Take a gander at her site and listen to what surfaces within you.

  1. Wow. It’s simultaneously gorgeous and disturbing.
